Forget malls, long lines, all the stress and fussing of a lengthy wait to see Santa.  Even without 2020’s social distancing guidelines, standing in line to see Santa can be a stressful experience for the family that results in cranky children and disappointed parents.

Instead, let’s set an appointment for a one-of-a-kind Santa Experience for your family.  Here’s how The Santa Experience is unlike anything you’ve done before.

  • No lines!  The Santa Experience is a private appointment for your family.  You’ll know when to arrive, what time we start, how long it lasts, and what happens next.  This means you can work around naps, lunch, teething, and just being a kid.

  • No Rushing.  Every appointment is 15 – 18 minutes of private time with Santa.  No one else is watching and there’s no handoff with the hope we’ll get a photo before the tears begin.  Each Santa Experience appointment has between 15 and 20 possible interactions between Santa and the child(ren).  Each experience will be guided by the child’s comfort level and engagement, so it’s truly a unique experience.

  • We’re telling a story – your story.  A professional photographer will document this experience in a photojournalistic style without intrusive flashbulbs so your child gets to enjoy their time with Santa with minimal distractions.

The Santa Experience with You’re On Film! is creating a sequence of events to photograph for you. The process we use is designed so each interaction flows naturally between your child and Santa.  The expressions are natural and so you don’t have to worry about getting a smile or red, teary eyes.  Santa will help guide your child through his living room to confirm their names on the Nice & Naughty List, have them to show their house on the map, help decorate Santa’s Christmas Tree, and share cookies and milk with a story.  Of course, we have a few more tricks up our sleeve, but we don’t want to give it all away here and spoil the magic.

We understand that 2020 hasn’t been like any year before this.  We take COVID-19 seriously, and we know you will, also.  This is why private appointments and no lines are so amazing.  In The Santa Experience, we’ll be spacing appointments to minimize any overlap with other clients.  Our check-in desk and waiting area will be cleaned with sanitizing wipes between each family and we’ll be using digitized services so you can scan and check in from your phone to minimize the need for touching pens, pencils, or clipboards.  We’ll also take your temperature using a no-touch thermometer to be certain that no one is running a fever (defined as 100.4 degrees F or higher) before entering the set.

Santa’s living room will be cleaned between sessions, as well.  For decorating the tree and story time, we’ll be using individually wrapped candy canes and cookies.  These will be staged after cleaning the set by one of our elves wearing a fresh, disposable, single use pair of gloves.

The You’re On Film! team will be wearing our fashionable masks, as will Santa between sessions.  We encourage you to follow suggested guidelines and requirements for masks and hand sanitizing in all public areas.  Out of respect for our client familes and Santa Claus, we won’t be having lap sessions for 2020, but our process will provide sufficient distance for the possibility of some photos without masks.

2020 Pricing for The Santa Experience with You’re On Film! Photography is $399 + tax.  This retainer must be paid to secure your appointment, but it can be made in two payments. Prints and products must be purchased separately.

  • 15 minute private, interactive portrait experience with Santa Claus

  • $200 print credit that can be used on any collection

  • Two (2) 8″ x 12″ Giclee Prints

  • In-Person or Zoom Reveal and Ordering Session to view your proofs and select your images and products

  • Magical Reindeer Dust!!!!  A special take-home gift to help guide Rudolph and all Santa’s reindeer to your house.

  • Miniature Wishbook for each child in the session to record their 2020 Christmas Wishes.

You’re never too young or old to enjoy The Santa Experience, but children ages 2-10 are most enchanted.  All ages are welcome.  Our Santa Claus is professionally trained and experienced working with children of all ages, as well as those with sensory processing issues.

$399 is a lot of money, and that’s why we only require 50% when making the booking and the remaining 50% 14 days later.  Sessions are not guaranteed confirmed until the retainer is paid in full.
